In December 2006, Superlark was named one of the                top 100 unsigned bands by Music Connection Magazine.

 Additionally...

March 2007: Superlark's beloved drummer and vocalist, Michelle Mangione, is nominated for the Orange County Music Awards in the category of Best Female Artist Based on her 2006 CD release "Life Beneath the Sun."

October 2007: Superlark was nominated in the category of "Best Cover Band" by Rock City Music Magazine.

Superlark combines musical experience and talent rarely found in the same band. The members of Superlark have toured and performed with name acts all over the United States and Europe.  Drummer Michelle Mangione spent over ten years co-leading the popular and highly acclaimed
band Sideswipe, hailed as one of the best all-time bands  in the history of Orange County and winner of Two Orange County Music Awards. Currently Superlark utilizes the talents of two different lead guitarists: Tom Kolb, an instructor at Musician's Institute in Hollywood, L.A. session man, vocalist and author of several  books on music theory and instruction; and Larry Hanson, formerly the music director for "The Righteous Brothers" band , and long-time touring lead guitarist, saxophone, trumpet and bassist for the band "Alabama". Rounding out the line-up is Steve Soest on bass and vocals, long-time member and songwriter for surf legends The Torquays, and Angela Riggio on keys and lead vocals, a permanent presence in the Southern California music scene, and member of Sideswipe. After years of playing
original music and popular cover songs, the members of the band have come together to focus on their true roots—classic rock and roll. The covers chosen by the band are reflective of their musical past and perfectly compliment their arsenal of original material.

Superlark is available for both full band electric and "un-plugged"
acoustic shows.
